Are you a business owner or employee interested in the overall benefits of “going green” in the workplace? Are you curious as to the financial savings sustainability initiatives provide? Are you aware of small steps a business can take in order to become more environmentally friendly?
Earth Day lands in the month of April, and in celebration of this, the Fox Cities Chamber is excited to make April’s Business Breakfast Bytes related to sustainability and “going green” in the workplace. People may be unaware that there are different categories relating to sustainability, and that there are smaller measures that can be put in place to lessen the impact on the environment. This presentation will educate attendees on what it means to “go green”, the different categories of sustainability, and third party certifications relating to that field. Attendees will also hear from a local small business on how they have taken on the mission of becoming the most environmentally responsible credit union in the nation. There will also be a discussion on the process of becoming a “Travel Green Wisconsin” certified location.
