EXPECTED RESULTS:

• Responsible for accurate inventory in perpetual system by facilitating physical inventory count process for plant
• Maintain item standard costs in ERP, roll costs at year end or as needed, and perform cost changes and analysis as needed
• Perform analysis of inventory adjustments to understand root cause
• Administer the capital project program and ensure accurate maintenance of fixed asset records, including calculating depreciation and reconciliation of fixed asset records to the general ledger
• Analyze, review, and close work orders and provide insights into variances
• Perform month end closing tasks, general ledger account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial reports

SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES:

• Provide support for administrating ERP data management: item master and bill of materials
• Perform data mining in multiple systems and perform data analytics as needed
• Support maintenance of the capital spending forecast
• Support bill of material reviews and perform analysis to improve their accuracy
• Support annual financial audit by external auditors, providing requested documentation as requested
• Practice continuous improvement in all aspects or work

REQUIRED PRIOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or related field
• Entry level - two years’ experience preferred
• Proficient with data analytics (Microsoft Excel)
• Ability to organize, summarize, and communicate report information
