Job Description
Crane Engineering brings together people, products, and experience to help our customers perform better. Crane Engineering is looking for a driven and solution focused Account Manager to join our outside sales team in fluid technology for our southern Wisconsin territory.

Fluid Technology Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements and promote the sale of product solutions and services
  • Support the sales team to broaden outreach both within new customers and current customers to increase sales goals
  • Build sales territory by providing customers technical information to select equipment, parts and/or services that meets customer’s needs
  • Focuses on equipment sales and make product recommendations to customers
  • Works with other members of the Sales Team for support seeking input in regards to solution/process sales
  • Develop own quotes and estimate prices, contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • Use effective business communication skills and have the ability to develop strong sales relationships with customers
  • Keep current of industry trends and competitive products
 
Fluid Technology Sales Account Manager Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Previous fluid technology sales experience a plus
  • Previous electrical and instrumentation experience or exposure is a plus
  • Successful candidates will be mechanically inclined to identify customer solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish rapport, build relationships and loyalty with external and internal customers and coworkers, and remain tactful when communicating
  • Exercises good troubleshooting skills and judgment. Takes ownership of questions and will escalate those to the appropriate person and follow up accordingly to the customer
