Crane Engineering is looking for a driven solution focused Insides Sales Representative to provide sales support for Crane Engineering products and services to Account Managers and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates and promotes Crane’s core values (Act with Integrity and Respect, Foster Teamwork, Focus on the Customer, Strive for Excellence and Innovation, Project Passion and Energy and Have Fun).
  • Communicates to internal staff on pertinent details of sales and marketing transactions.
  • Assists customers and internal team members with alternative equipment, parts and/or service options.
  • Answers customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
  • Recommends products to customers based on needs and interests.
  • Contacts current and prospective customers to explain features and solicit orders.
  • Estimates prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.
  • Consults with clients after sales or contract signings to provide ongoing support.
  • Arranges and directs delivery and installation of products and equipment.
  • Monitors market conditions, product innovations and competitors' products, prices and sales.
  • Negotiates details of contracts and payments and prepare sales contracts and purchase orders.
  • Responds to customer or sales team member requests promptly and accurately.
  • Maintains product knowledge necessary to service customer and sales team member needs.
  • Includes pertinent peripheral quotes on equipment, parts and services.
  • Works with Account Managers and Application Engineers to provide recommended equipment, parts and/or services for quotes.
  • Provides technical information in conjunction with Application Engineer, if required, to select equipment, parts and/or services that will better satisfy the customer's needs.
     
    Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales experience is a plus
  • Ability to interact professionally over the phone with a focus on customer service and increasing sales
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Works well under pressure
  • Strong customer service and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
