When our daughter Jaycee was diagnosed with brain cancer (Choroid Plexus Carcinoma) in January of 2020 we were devastated, our lives were changed in an instant. However, with the amount of love and support we received from friends, family, and beyond she was able to keep a smile on her face everyday! We learned quickly that asking for help or just accepting a shoulder to lean on was some of the best medicine we could get. Through our daughters journey it was the little things that brought smiles to her face and joy into our hearts, such as cards, letters and of course a box of goodies to keep her entertained. We then decided that the best way for us to pay it forward was to send as much love as possible to children that never asked to be sick. We hope that in doing so we can bring a smile to their faces and make their days a little brighter. We will be putting care packages together for any child dealing with a serious illness that has kept them away from their families or even just stuck in the house unable to play and just be a kid.
