About Us

Woodward Communications Incorporated is a dynamic, employee-owned multimedia corporation, operating in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin, with headquarters in Dubuque, Iowa. The corporation is majority employee-owned by its nearly 550 employee owners through an ESOP. Woodward employee owners serve customers, readers and listeners located in communities in Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois, as well as other parts of the USA and in a number of foreign countries. The corporation has six operating divisions: daily newspaper, weekly publications, commercial printing, niche magazines, radio, and full-service advertising agency.
